Blockchain is (still!) all the rage at identity and cybersecurity conferences. Blockchain sounds new and exciting, looks slick on marketing materials, screams “innovation!,” powers cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, and has been billed as a cure-all for a variety of use cases.
